How long have I been photographing weddings? How many weddings do I shoot a year?
- I have been photographing weddings since 2013. Since my first year I have photographed 85 weddings which gives me a great deal of experience in a whole lot of unique situations. On average I shoot anywhere between 15-20 weddings each year.
What if you feel super awkward in front of the camera?
- I’m with ya! And I get told this a lot, like 99% of the time. I get it! After 6 years of photography I can say that I’ve cultivated the skill of finding how to bring out your true personality and to make the experience fun! It’s a passion of mine to have you look back on the images and remember the moments, the real authentic moments that make you smile, laugh, even cry, but simply to feel something amazing. That’s my goal, make it fun, so not to worry, I’ve got this!
You are having a Destination wedding, do I travel?
- Yes! I absolutely do travel. Whether that’s within the province, within Canada or outside of the country. I love to travel and destination weddings give me the experience to mix my passions into one epic experience. So I do take a select number of destination weddings each year. Some locations on my wish list are: Tofino, St. Eugene Golf Resort (Cranbrook BC), Santorini and Hawaii. (Please inquire for a personalized quote)
Do you usually shoot with a second shooter?
- Yes, about 95% of my weddings I have my second shooter, Heather, with me. She is a huge asset. We have been shooting together since 2014. She helps in all aspects of the day, not just an alternate angle, but an instant back up. And the best part is we are good friends with and without our cameras.
